Jamie Whitlow is a visual artist based in Nashville, Tennessee, utilizing several different mediums to create both 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional artwork. Jamie participates in art forms such as acrylic and oil painting, drawing, digital art, mural painting, jewelry making, photography and sculpture. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Art Practices, with two minors in sociology and psychology. Her paintings, drawings and photography explore the human experience, manifesting the emotional aspects of life into visual form. Jamie juxtaposes realistic symbols of life, love, and pain within her art, creating collage-like, surrealistic universes.

Working professionally since 2014, Jamie has participated in both local and national exhibitions, ranging from local Nashville art crawls to an installation display at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in 2016. Since 2014, Jamie has worked with various regional and national music festivals to create interactive sculpture installations, including Okeechobee Music Festival, Suwannee Hulaween, LaureLive Music Festival, Imagine Festival, and more. In 2018, Jamie co-founded the 10,000 square foot pop-up immersive art exhibit, Otherworld Encounter, creating installations for the exhibit while also acting as the company's COO. This groundbreaking art and technology exhibit displayed at the Nashville Fairgrounds in December 2018 and July 2019, as well as the MET Atlanta in April of 2019.

Within her art, Jamie wishes to create larger than life spaces for people to come together within. She uses the knowledge gained from her collegiate education to analyze the world around her, then explores her personal discoveries through her creativity. Jamie's goal as an artist is to continue creating artworks that are bigger than herself, both literally and figuratively.
